NEW - Online License Renewal

In efforts to streamline processing, the Board has simplified license renewal.  Please read carefully to ensure a successful renewal process.

Before proceeding, make sure you have completed the required continuing education including the Board approved tutorial.  Have your course descriptions and completion dates handy to assist in keying your continuing education.

STEP ONE:  When you're ready to proceed, you will click on "Renew Now" below and you'll be taken to the credit card payment screen.  Key in the required information including your license number(s) and expiration date(s) and click Pay Now.

STEP TWO:  After making your credit card payment, click Continue to proceed to Step Two which includes a link to "Complete Online Renewal".  The Online Renewal form will open in Adobe Sign and allow for online submission.  Please read the following helpful hints for completing the form:

  • Watch for required fields - there is a count of required fields in the upper right hand corner of the form.  You will not be allowed to submit the form unless all required fields are completed. NOTE: The form cannot be saved, it must be completed and submitted online.
  • Your name, phone number and payment authorization code will import from your payment data keyed in STEP ONE.
  • If you need to attach documents, click on YES on page 3 and you will be provided file attachment fields.
  • Use the legend printed in red for the type of continuing education completed.
  • You must key the date you completed the Board approved tutorial in Part IV, Section 1.
  • Watch the Section headers and key by requirement type (ethics, cultural, substance abuse, general).

PLEASE NOTE:  If you made your credit card payment, but exited the screen without proceeding to the Online Renewal form, click HERE to complete STEP TWO.

STEP THREE:  Maintain your documentation of continuing education for 24 months in case of an audit.

RENEW NOW

Renewals will be processed in the order received, typically within 1-2 weeks. If your license has expired, but you are renewing within 90 days of your expiration date, you will pay a $100.00 late renewal penalty fee.

For licensees with multiple licenses:

  • A reduced renewal fee is applicable when multiple licenses are renewed at the same time
  • Continuing education can be used for multiple licenses if the content relates to the scope of practice of each license
  • The expiration dates of multiple licenses may be synchronized by submitting a License Synchronization Request form and paying a prorated fee at the time of renewing both licenses

Please note: Submission of fingerprints or clearance card is not required when renewing your license.
